Uses
Vaniqa is a medication used to decelerate the growth of hair in women. It is especially effective on facial hair, and works to obstruct an enzyme in the hair follicle that is responsible for growth of hair. It is not a depilatory cream, and is not meant to be used in place of a hair removal formulation. Continue with your regular hair removal cream while you are using Vaniqa. It doesn`t remove hair, nor is it a cure for unwanted hair on the face. It merely slows down the hair growth process, giving you smoother skin over a period of time.
Dosage
Apply thinly over the affected areas on the skin and under the chin, and massage it in. Use twice in a day with at least a gap of 8 hours in between. Don`t wash off the cream for a minimum of 4 hours. Continue with your regular hair removal creams while on Vaniqa treatment. Apply Vaniqa five minutes after you use your hair removal cream. It`s perfectly safe to use cosmetics after the cream has dried off.
Warnings
If you are allergic to any of the active ingredients in Vaniqa, do not use this medication. Vaniqa should not be used on children under 12. It is also not known if Vaniqa passes on through breast milk. If you`re nursing, consult your doctor prior to starting this medication.
